Conti Di San Bonifacio Wedding
Lily and Steven invited their closest family and friends to enjoy a Conti Di San Bonifacio wedding in Tuscany. This bi-coastal couple did away with a local wedding and instead flew to Italy to tie the knot. This spectacular venue is nestled deep in Tuscan wine country and served as the backdrop for the weekend. Conti Di San Bonifacio is located atop a hill, overlooking its vineyards and surrounding wine country.
In combination with Italian elements, Lily and Steven held a traditional Chinese tea ceremony in the morning. They were surrounded by their closest friends and family, some who flew in from China. Afterward, Lily returned to her suite to change into her wedding dress for the first look with Steven. She paired her dress with a classic pair of nude Louboutin heels. During that time, Steven and his groomsmen toasted one another over some Hibiki whiskey. After getting a little liquid courage, the guys headed over to the pool to get in a quick dunk before everyone was suited up for the day’s events.
Meanwhile, the floral arrangements were underway at the ceremony site. Serena of Infinito Amore was putting together some breathtaking floral creations. There was a seven-foot-tall ceremony arch at the end of the aisle. She also created floral crowns for the ladies instead of a traditional bouquet.
Lily and Steven officially became husband and wife in front of their closest friends and family. Everyone cheered and tossed olive leaves on the couple during their recessional down the aisle.
Cocktail Hour & Reception
Following the ceremony, everyone was ushered to enjoy the cocktail hour overlooking the rolling vineyards. A spread complete with local meats and cheeses, fresh Caprese salad, and delicious homemade sliders awaited everyone.
During cocktail hour, Lily and Steven made their way across the property taking romantic portraits and savoring their first sunset together as husband and wife. The ceremony site was converted into the reception space where long garlands of greenery and roses adorned the tables. Once the sun dipped behind the rolling hills market lights illuminated the dinner with a warm glow. Lily and Steven entered the reception to cheers and smiles from friends and family. Guests soon took their seats on the front lawn to enjoy a candle-lit al fresco dinner. Everyone enjoyed endless courses of authentic Italian dinner accompanied by local wine from Conti Di San Bonifacio.
End of the Night
Everybody danced late into the night and celebrated the newly married couple. Lily and Steven had a traditional Italian wedding cake for guests to enjoy. Their wedding day was truly one for the books!
