Conti Di San Bonifacio Wedding
Lily and Steven invited their closest family and friends to enjoy a Conti Di San Bonifacio wedding in Tuscany, Italy. This bi-coastal couple decided to do away with the norm of a local wedding and instead, flew to Italy to tie the knot. This spectacular venue is nestled deep in Tuscan wine country and served as the backdrop for the weekend.
In combination with Italian elements, Lily and Steven held a traditional Chinese wedding tea ceremony in the morning. They were surrounded by their closest friends and family, some who flew in from China. Afterward, Lily returned to her suite to change into her wedding dress for the first look with Steven. During that time, Steven and his groomsmen toasted over some Hibiki whiskey. After getting a little liquid courage, we headed over to the pool to get in a quick dunk before everyone was suited up for the day’s events.
Meanwhile, the floral arrangements were underway at the ceremony site. Serena of Infinito Amore was putting together some breathtaking floral creations. There was a seven-foot-tall ceremony arch at the end of the aisle. She also created floral crowns for the ladies instead of a traditional bouquet.
Under the bright Tuscan sun and in front of their family and friends, Lily and Steven were officially married. Guests cheered and tossed olive leaves on the couple during their recessional down the aisle. Everyone was then ushered after the ceremony to enjoy the cocktail hour overlooking the rolling vineyards. A spread complete with local meats and cheeses, fresh Caprese salad, and delicious homemade sliders awaited everyone.
Cocktail Hour & Reception
During cocktail hour, Lily and Steven made their way across the property, taking romantic portraits and savoring their first sunset together as husband and wife. The ceremony site was converted into the reception space where long garlands of greenery and roses adorned the tables. Lily and Steven entered the reception to cheers and smiles from friends and family. Guests soon took their seats on the front lawn to enjoy a candle-lit al fresco dinner. Everyone enjoyed endless courses of authentic Italian dinner accompanied by local wine from Conti Di San Bonifacio.
End of the Night
Everybody danced late into the night and celebrated the newly married couple. Lily and Steven had a traditional Italian wedding cake for guests to enjoy. Their wedding day was truly one for the books!
