Ocean Club Four Seasons Bahamas Wedding | Jordyn + Steven

If you’re looking for some tropical wedding inspiration, then you’ve come to the right place. Jordyn and Steven enjoyed a wedding weekend with their friends and family at the Ocean Club Four Seasons in the Bahamas. They spent three days soaking up the sun and enjoying all that the Bahamas had to offer. The first night of festivities involved a bbq under the stars, followed by a pool party the following afternoon. These events allowed guests to get well acquainted by the wedding day and be ready for a full day of festivities. 

We met Jordyn and her ladies on the morning of the wedding in her private villa overlooking the ocean. The glam squad was in full effect and everyone was in good spirits. After hair and makeup finished we headed outside to pop some bubbly and celebrate an epic day.

Getting Ready

Steven and the guys got ready close by on the property. They wore Bahamas friendly attire and donned classic black tuxedos with a pair of Air Jordans- a nod to the bride’s name. Steven’s dad assisted him with his final touches before heading out for portraits and the first look.

Jordyn’s mom and sister helped her into her dress and to put the final touches on the wedding ensemble. She stunned in a gorgeous Berta gown with sparkle details and a corset bodice. She was truly a princess on her wedding day. Jordyn had a first look with her dad before Steven arrived to her villa.

We captured portraits among the lush greenery before heading inside to meet the rest of the family. Once everyone arrived, Jordyn and Steven signed the ketubah, a traditional document in Jewish faith signifying their religious marriage was complete.

Ceremony

The ceremony site was held beneath the property’s cloister. Pastel flowers adorned the space and lined the aisle leading up to the chuppah. Jordyn’s parents both walked her down the aisle to meet Steven who greeted her with a smile from ear to ear.

Steven performed the seven circles around Jordyn- a Jewish tradition that symbolizes the creation of the universe. Each circle represents a different part of creation.

Following the ceremony we headed down to the lower lawn for sunset portraits of the couple as husband and wife.

Cocktail Hour

Cocktail hour was held on the property’s cascading Versailles Garden. Guests dined on delicious hors d’ouvres and sipped cocktails underneath the Caribbean sunset.

Reception

The guests headed indoors once it got dark to the tented reception space. It was held overlooking the Versailles garden in a structure specifically built for the wedding day. The space was transformed into a gorgeous monochrome space boasting yellows, golds, and tans with ample lounge space throughout. Guests enjoyed heartfelt speeches, live music, indoor fireworks, and a delicious multicourse dinner. Following the reception, everyone was surprised by a traditional junkanoo performance.  They were led outdoors to a surprise afterparty by the pool for late-night snacks and a DJ booth. Everyone celebrated late into the morning and a few even took a surprise dip in the pool.
