This Palm Springs engagement shoot with Ghazaleh + Bryce will give you all the feels and a sudden need to go on a trip to the desert. It turned out incredible beyond what I could have imagined. When you combine a classically stunning couple with the desert, cacti and gorgeous cloudy skies you are guaranteed some stunning images. I couldn’t have had a better time running around the desert with these two chasing light and capturing some beautiful moments in the process.

The days leading up to our trip out to Palm Springs we had thunder clouds on the horizon and a 90% chance of rain while we were there. Thanks to good karma and a little luck we missed the rain and took advantage of the most perfect light and landscape. I always love the juxtaposition of formal attire and nature. The contrast between the two just does something special for me. Ghazaleh’s sweeping white gown + Bryce’s classic navy suit were a perfect compliment to one another.

We started our day grabbing breakfast together at a little diner in town that serves the best date shake I’ve ever had. Afterwards, we packed up our stuff and headed out to our first location. When I’m looking for spots to shoot in areas that I haven’t visited before my method of finding these locations is a combination of online research and winging it. Some of the best little places I’ve found is just by walking or driving around.

Ghazaleh + Bryce brought a sweet little piece of outdoor furniture that not only is symbolic in their relationship but it was a stunning addition to their images. We ended the evening watching the sun set and snapping some beautiful moments walking the grounds at the Westin.

Thanks for the great memories, Ghazaleh + Bryce. I can’t wait for your wedding later this year!
