This past weekend I had the pleasure of working with Michelle + Will on the warm, sunlit cliffs for a Point Dume engagement shoot in Malibu. Even though our shoot was during the evening in February you would have sworn it was mid-summer. Their first outfit was formal- Michelle rocked a white gown with a plunging neckline and Will donned his formal military blues. While we photographed and walked around, we found cool spots tucked away in the cliffside. The location had tons of hidden gems, and at each turn, we were beautifully presented with wide views of the cliffside and Pacific.

Their second outfits were more casual and paired with the location perfectly. Will was over the moon that he could finally wear his casual clothes; apparently, those dress blues are more fashion than function. We headed up to the top of the hill where we were shooting and discovered the most epic bluff overlooking Malibu Beach and the Pacific. While the sun dipped behind the ocean we spent the last few minutes of daylight capturing love, laughs, and some epic views. Michelle + Will were an absolute delight to work with and I can’t wait for their wedding in Palos Verdes, CA later this year.
