Rosewood Baha Mar Wedding

I was never a believer in kismet, but after meeting Nicole and Chris, it’s safe to say I believe it now. I was a guest at Baha Mar back in January when I had another wedding in the Bahamas. It was a long weekend of photographing back-to-back events. My team and I were so exhausted by the fourth day that we just wanted to relax in a jacuzzi all day. We made our way to Rosewood to enjoy a nice soak. We chatted with the other couples in the jacuzzi about our weekend and why we were in town. Little did we know that we happened to be chatting with a soon-to-be-married couple. They explained that their wedding was four months away and it happened to be here at the Rosewood. The cherry on top was that they were still looking for a photographer. Needless to say, the three of us became fast friends. And the rest they say, is history. Fast forward to May, and here we are back again at the Rosewood for another beautiful wedding.

Getting Ready

Nicole and her closest ladies got ready in a gorgeous penthouse overlooking the ocean. They enjoyed a delicious brunch spread and epic views of the property while hair and makeup was underway. The ladies surprised Nicole with the sweetest wedding day gift- a pink marbleized clutch from Cult Gaia. Nicole’s mom helped her into her dress and assisted her in preparing for her first look with Chris.

I met Chris downstairs in the manor bar where he put on his finishing touches before seeing his bride. He kept his look classic with modern touches and donned an ivory tuxedo jacket with black slacks and navy blue velvet loafers with bull accents. The first look took place on the hotel’s balcony overlooking the lush greenery of the property. Nicole and Chris shared a teary-eyed embrace and then we were off for portraits before the ceremony.
