Rosewood Miramar Wedding
Liz and David invited their nearest and dearest friends to join them in Montecito for their Rosewood Miramar wedding. The day was planned to perfection by Alexandra Kolendrianos and floral design was meticulously crafted by Toast Santa Barbara. We met Liz and her bridesmaids in the morning in her suite on the property. David and the guys were getting ready at a home off-site just down the street in Montecito. Studio Collette styled Liz’s details to perfection while the ladies were getting their glam on with TEAM Hair and Makeup. Once Liz finished with hair and makeup she slipped into her Galia Lahav dress, embellished with delicate floral details. We captured her portraits in the sun-lit suite before heading out to meet David for their first look.
First Look and Ceremony
Meanwhile, David was anxiously awaiting his bride-to-be in the courtyard just outside. With a soft tap on the shoulder, David excitedly turned around with an ear-to-ear smile. Following the first look and portraits, everyone headed to the ceremony site for bridal party and family photos. The bridesmaids wore a variety of floor-length soft pink dresses accompanied by bouquets filled with blush and soft pink florals. The groomsmen kept the look classic with black tuxedos.
The ceremony site was adorned with spiced coffee roses, pink peonies, blush sweet peas, and yellow ranunculus. A stunning floral arch stood at the end of the aisle with thousands of rose petals leading up to it. Liz and David followed Jewish tradition and had a traditional wedding ceremony. Family members shared heartfelt readings and the couple sealed their marriage with a kiss and the breaking of the glass.
Cocktail Hour and Reception
After the ceremony, guests were led to the South lawn where hors d’oeuvres and cocktail hour awaited them. Multiple lounging areas were staged across the lawn and tasty drinks were being poured from the bar. The reception space took place inside the main ballroom. The bridal party’s long, communal table was filled with white tapered candles and raised floral installations. The surrounding tables were also warmed by candlelight and tones of beige and off-white. Meanwhile, we snuck Liz ad David out for portraits during cocktail hour.
The sun was beginning to set on the property and enveloped the grounds in golden light. Proceeding portraits we met everyone back in time for the real party to begin. Everyone gathered in a circle for the Horah after the couple’s first dance. Heartfelt speeches were delivered by friends and family during dinner. Liz and David celebrated late into the evening but not before cutting into some very delicious cake.
