After flying in from New York for both celebrations, they chose to have a luxury O’Donnell House wedding in Palm Springs as the setting for their wedding weekend. The historic estate overlooks downtown Palm Springs and offers sweeping desert views, manicured lawns, and an atmosphere that feels both private and cinematic.

From the beginning, their vision centered on refined fashion, thoughtful details, and an elevated guest experience.

Fashion-Forward Details & Emotional First Looks

Olivia embraced timeless couture with a Vera Wang gown featuring a dramatic off-the-shoulder bow. The silhouette felt architectural yet romantic — a perfect complement to the desert backdrop.

Christian and his groomsmen kept things classic in black tuxedos, creating a striking contrast against the sunlit property.

Before the ceremony, Olivia shared an emotional first look with her father in the bridal suite upstairs. The moment felt intimate and deeply personal. Shortly after, she made her way into the courtyard where Christian waited. As soon as he turned around, emotion took over. Their first look felt joyful, tender, and completely authentic.

The ceremony took place on the main lawn of the O’Donnell House, framed by panoramic views of downtown Palm Springs. Guests gathered under the warm desert light as Olivia walked down the aisle surrounded by love and anticipation.

Family and friends watched with joy as the couple exchanged vows and shared their first kiss as husband and wife.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed an outdoor cocktail hour while we explored more of the estate for romantic portraits. The manicured lawns, clean architectural lines, and desert skyline created an editorial setting for timeless imagery.

Elevated Guest Experience & Reception Design

From the beginning, Olivia and Christian focused on creating a thoughtful, immersive experience for their guests.

Their custom escort display featured elegant calligraphy reading, “and away we go.” Each guest received a pastel luggage tag to take home — a subtle nod to travel and their cross-country love story.

As guests found their seats for dinner, they discovered handwritten thank-you notes placed beneath each setting. Every note was personally written by the bride and groom, adding a meaningful and unexpected touch.

Heartfelt speeches followed dinner, and the celebration soon transitioned into dancing under the Palm Springs sky.

Midway through the evening, Olivia surprised everyone with a wardrobe change into a floral Oscar de la Renta gown. The look felt playful yet refined. In a subtle nod to her profession, she later brought out Jell-O shots served in oversized novelty syringes — a moment that had everyone laughing and fully embracing the celebration.

The dance floor stayed full all night as guests celebrated this stylish, joy-filled couple.
